Managing Suppliers

Suppliers are the companies you buy inventory from.

Creating a supplier

Go to Suppliers and click Add Supplier.

• Name -- Company name
• Contact info -- Email, phone, address
• Lead time -- How many days deliveries typically take. This feeds into reorder point calculations.
• Minimum order amount -- Minimum value for a purchase order

How suppliers connect to other features

• Products can be linked to suppliers
• Reorder suggestions use supplier lead times for urgency calculations
• POs are created against specific suppliers
• QuickBooks CSV import auto-creates suppliers from vendor names
