Your First Sync

After connecting your store, Fulfiro runs an initial full sync. Here is what to expect.

What gets imported

  • Products: All simple and variable products, including variations. Names, SKUs, prices, stock quantities, images, categories, attributes, weight, and dimensions.
  • Stock levels: The stock quantity for each product becomes the starting inventory level in Fulfiro.

What about orders?

Orders are NOT backfilled during the first sync. Fulfiro starts receiving orders in real time via webhooks after the store is connected. New orders placed in WooCommerce appear in Fulfiro within seconds. The background sync (every 15 minutes) also picks up recently modified orders as a safety net.

How long does it take?

Depends on catalog size. A store with 500 products typically syncs in under 2 minutes. Stores with 5,000+ products may take 5-10 minutes. You can monitor progress on the Stores page.

What happens to stock?

During the first sync, Fulfiro creates an initial inventory level for each product at your default location. The quantity matches what WooCommerce reports. From this point forward, Fulfiro is the source of truth -- changes you make in Fulfiro push to WooCommerce, not the other way around. See Two-Way Stock Sync for how this works.

After the sync

  • Check the Products page to see your imported catalog. See Products Overview.
  • Visit the Dashboard for an overview of inventory health.
  • The Orders page will be empty initially -- orders arrive in real time as new orders are placed in your WooCommerce store. See Orders Overview.

If something looks wrong

  • Products missing? Check if they are published in WooCommerce. Fulfiro syncs published products by default.
  • Stock numbers off? See Stock Discrepancies for how to resolve mismatches.
  • Sync failed? Check Settings > Stores and click your store to see sync health and error logs.
