Multi-Location Inventory

Multi-location inventory lets you track stock separately at different warehouses, stores, or fulfillment centers.

Use Multi-Location if: You have multiple warehouses, a retail store alongside an online warehouse, use a third-party fulfillment center, or want to track stock at different areas within one building.

Do NOT enable if: You ship everything from one place. Multi-location adds complexity you do not need.

Enabling multi-location

Go to Settings > Organization and toggle Multi-Location Inventory on. The Locations page appears in the sidebar.

Creating locations

Go to the Locations page and click Add Location. Enter a name (e.g., "Main Warehouse", "Retail Store") and an optional address. Your first location (the default) was created automatically during registration.

How it works

Each product has a separate stock level at each location. The product's total on-hand is the sum across all locations. When you adjust stock, you specify which location.

Default location

One location is marked as the default. When single-location mode is active, all stock operations use this location automatically.
